This one came from my Mother, when we were young she would have night where we would do an all Asian-Inspired menu and this was one of the things we really loved. They are simple to make but you definitely need to plan ahead (takes a day to marinate).
Mix all the ingredients (except chicken) together in a bowl, make sure to mix well.
Put the chicken in a large zip top bag and dump the sauce mixture over the top of it as well. Seal and store in the refrigerator for 24 hours, mix it around a couple times during the process. We often marinate it right in the baking pan we are going to use to cook it, just cover it well.
If you marinated it in a bag, dump it all in a baking dish. Cover it and bake it in the over at 350 degrees for 1.5 hours.
These will nearly fall off the bone so they can be messy. They will be salty due to the Soy Sauce but you can help by using the Low Sodium variety.
